ENHANCEMENT FOR DATA SECURITY IN CLOUD COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT

    Get PDF
Cloud computing, a rapidly developing information technology, has aroused the concern of the whole world. Cloud computing is Internet-based computing, whereby shared resources, software and information, are provided to computers and devices on-demand, like the electricity grid. Cloud computing is the product of the fusion of traditional computing technology and network technology like grid computing, distributed computing parallel computing and so on. It aims to construct a perfect system with powerful computing capability through a large number of relatively low-cost computing entity, and using the advanced business model like SaaS (Software as a Service) to distribute the powerful computing capacity to end users’ hands. To address this longstanding limitation by building a multi-tenant system. Our system provides the environment for the user to perform his tasks, but with very high security. By using further facilities provided in this system user fill secure about his data and his account

Determination of minimum inhibitory concentration of third generation cephalosporins and fluoroquinolones on clinical isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa

    Get PDF
Background: Pseudomonas aeruginosa has attracted much attention because of its high incidence of nosocomial infections in recent years. The multidrug resistance of these P. aeruginosa isolates plays an important role in the colonization or infection of chronically hospitalized patients. There is continued search for alternative drugs, such fluoroquinolones, and the third generation cephalosporins. The objective of present study was to test the susceptibility of the clinical isolates of P. aeruginosa to antimicrobials like ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, ceftazidime, and cefoperazone. To determine their minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) is in resistant isolates. Methods: The study was conducted in Bacteriology Laboratory, Department of Microbiology, Government Medical College, Miraj. The design of study: in vitro study on 50 clinical isolates of P. aeruginosa. Results: Among the third generation cephalosporins, ceftazidime (64%) exhibited maximum in vitro activity and among the fluoroquinolones ciprofloxacin (54%) exhibited maximum activity. Out of 50 clinical isolates of P. aeruginosa,17 were resistant to all four antimicrobials,22 were susceptible to all four antimicrobials, and 11 clinical isolates of P. aeruginosa showed mixed susceptibility-resistant pattern. Conclusion: MIC values for resistant strains of P. aeruginosa ranged from 0.03 to 32 µg/ml for fluoroquinolones and 0.5-512 µg/ml for third generation cephalosporins

A Bird view on Heat Transfer Enhancement in a Tube with Twisted Tape Insert

Different kinds of methods used to enhance heat transfer rate of heat exchanger without influencing overall performance of the heat exchanger referred as heat transfer enhancement techniques. This technique are categorized into three types i.e. active technique, passive technique, and compound technique Some of the application of heat exchanger which require enhancement in heat transfer are – Air conditioning equipments, radiators, refrigerators, thermal Power plants etc. The intention of enhanced heat transfer is to encourage high heat fluxes, this result in reduction in size of heat exchanger. The present paper is a review of research work in last decade on heat transfer enhancement in a Heat Exchanger DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.15037

    Off-Diagonal Geometric Phases

    Get PDF
We investigate the adiabatic evolution of a set of non-degenerate eigenstates of a parameterized Hamiltonian. Their relative phase change can be related to geometric measurable quantities that extend the familiar concept of Berry phase to the evolution of more than one state. We present several physical systems where these concepts can be applied, including an experiment on microwave cavities for which off-diagonal phases can be determined from published data.Comment: 5 pages 2 figures - RevTeX. Observation of off-diagonal geometric phase in polarized neutron interferometer experiments

Off-diagonal geometric phases acquired in the evolution of a spin-1/2 system have been investigated by means of a polarized neutron interferometer. Final counts with and without polarization analysis enable us to observe simultaneously the off-diagonal and diagonal geometric phases in two detectors. We have quantitatively measured the off-diagonal geometric phase for noncyclic evolutions, confirming the theoretical predictions. We discuss the significance of our experiment in terms of geometric phases (both diagonal and off-diagonal) and in terms of the quantum erasing phenomenon.Comment: pdf, 22 pages + 8 figures (included in the pdf). Non-commutative Kerr black hole

This paper applies the first-order Seiberg-Witten map to evaluate the first-order non-commutative Kerr tetrad. The classical tetrad is taken to follow the locally non-rotating frame prescription. We also evaluate the tiny effect of non-commutativity on the efficiency of the Penrose process of rotational energy extraction from a black hole.Comment: 14 pages. Photon redshift and the appearance of a naked singularity

    Get PDF
In this paper we analyze the redshift as observed by an external observer receiving photons which terminate in the past at the naked singularity formed in a Tolman-Bondi dust collapse. Within the context of models considered here it is shown that photons emitted from a weak curvature naked singularity are always finitely redshifted to an external observer. Certain cases of strong curvature naked singularities, including the self-similar one, where the photons are infinitely redshifted are also pointed out.Comment: Latex file, 14 pages, no figures, one change in the reference. Classical and Quantum Interaction of the Dipole

    Get PDF
A unified and fully relativistic treatment of the interaction of the electric and magnetic dipole moments of a particle with the electromagnetic field is given. New forces on the particle due to the combined effect of electric and magnetic dipoles are obtained. Four new experiments are proposed, three of which would observe topological phase shifts.Comment: 10 pages, Latex/Revtex. Some minor errors have been correcte

Noncyclic geometric phase for neutrino oscillation

    Get PDF
We provide explicit formulae for the noncyclic geometric phases or Pancharatnam phases of neutrino oscillations. Since Pancharatnam phase is a generalization of the Berry phase, our results generalize the previous findings for Berry phase in a recent paper [Phys. Lett. B, 466 (1999) 262]. Unlike the Berry phase, the noncyclic geometric phase offers distinctive advantage in terms of measurement and prediction. In particular, for three-flavor mixing, our explicit formula offers an alternative means of determining the CP-violating phase. Our results can also be extended easily to explore geometric phase associated with neutron-antineutron oscillations

Detonating Cord for Flux Compression Generation using Electrical Detonator No. 33

    Get PDF
The paper highlights the use of electrical detonators for magnetic flux compression generator applications which requires synchronisation of two events with precise time delay of tens of ms and jitter within a few ms. These requirements are generally achieved by exploding bridge wire type detonators which are difficult to develop and are not commercially available. A technique has been developed using commercially available electrical detonator no. 33 to synchronise between peak of seed current in stator coil and detonation of explosive charge in armature. In present experiments, electrical signal generated by self-shorting pin due to bursting of electrical detonator has been used to trigger the capacitor discharge and the detonating cord of known length has been used to incorporate predetermined delay to synchronise the events. It has been demonstrated that using electrical detonator and known length of detonating cord, the two events can be synchronised with predetermined delay between 31 and 251 ms with variation of ± 0.5ms. The technique developed is suitable for defence applications like generation of high power microwaves using explosive driven magnetic flux compression generators.Defence Science Journal, 2011, 61(1), pp.19-24, DOI:http://dx.doi.org/10.14429/dsj.61.3
